There are two common misconceptions about eating desserts while dieting, one is that it will make you gain weight, and the other is that if you use your syns on desserts, you might lose weight slower than someone who did not.
Both are not true, you can technically eat anything you want while trying to lose weight, as long as you keep in a calorie deficit, and for slimming world users, this is what your syns are calculated and meant for, as long as you do not go above 15 syns a day, you will lose weight no faster or slower than someone who did not use them at all.

But not all Greek yoghurt is syn free, only zero percent fat free Greek yoghurt is syn free, and this should also be unflavoured, full fat Greek yoghurt needs to be synned.
