Tip: The 125g Greek Style Light pots are better value than the 175g Light pots — you get a decent portion for 3.5 syns instead of 5. They’re also thicker and more satisfying.
The Active range (no added sugar) is a solid mid-syn option. The Protein range is much higher — the added protein bumps the syns up significantly.

A word on the protein yoghurts: at 7.5 syns for one pot, they’re genuinely not worth it on Slimming World. You’d use half your daily allowance for a single yoghurt. If you want protein, a syn-free Greek yoghurt with some Free fruit gives you a similar protein hit for zero syns.
These are the ones to watch out for. The Greek Style and flavoured yoghurts that aren’t labelled “Light” or “0% Fat” are significantly higher in syns.

No. Only the fat-free plain varieties (natural, Greek style 0%, and plain Skyr) are syn free. Any flavoured, full-fat, or protein yoghurt has syns.
Brooklea Authentic Greek Yoghurt 0% Fat is the best all-rounder — it’s syn free, thick enough to feel satisfying, and works in both sweet and savoury recipes.
They’re very similar in style and syn value. Brooklea Light Greek Style pots are 3.5 syns vs Müller Light at 1–2 syns, but Brooklea’s plain fat-free range is identical in syn terms.
The added protein (usually whey or milk protein) increases the calorie density, which pushes up the syn value. At 7.5 syns per pot, you’re better off having Greek 0% yoghurt (syn free) with a handful of nuts if you want extra protein.
Plain yoghurt isn’t a Healthy Extra on Slimming World — it counts as a Free Food when it’s fat free and unflavoured. Healthy Extras are reserved for milk, cheese, bread and cereals.
Only the plain Skyr is syn free. Flavoured Skyr (Passion Fruit, Raspberry) is around 6 syns per pot because of the added fruit and sugar.
