How Many Syns Do I Get Per Day On Slimming World?

On the slimming world plan, most average users are given a daily syn allowance of 15 syns per day, this is the allowance of non-free foods such as your naughty treats like chocolate, once you go over this syn allowance for the day you are at risk of gaining weight on the plan. 

That being said, sometimes the 15 syn daily allowance can change according to your starting weight, for example, men around 20 stone might be given a 20 syn daily allowance, which will slowly decrease as they lose weight. 

What Are Free Foods On Slimming World? 

Now we know how many syns you can afford to spend on the slimming world plan while losing weight, let's discuss what Slimming World Free Foods mean on the plan and how you can use them to your advantage. 

Free foods on the slimming world plan refer to anything that you don't have to syn on the plan, some examples are vegetables and lean meats, and meats with fat or veggies stored in oil however have syns. 

To figure out which foods are syn-free and contain syns on the plan you can simply type the food in the slimming world app or calculate syns in foods yourself by following the 20 calories to one syn rules or using a syn calculator, it should be noted that this isn't the most accurate method, however.

Is Slimming World Expensive? 

Many people shy away from diet plans like the slimming world due to them being expensive, however slimming world is budget-friendly, especially if you do your shopping lists at places like Aldi. 

The subscription to SW is around £6 a month, the most costly ingredients you will need to factor in on the plan are low-fat/fat-free yoghurts and snacks.
