Our tomato soup recipe below is syn-free and easy to make!
Two carrots chopped.
Three celery sticks.
Two garlic cloves.
One spoonful of tomato paste.
1 litre of veggie stock.
800g of chopped tomatoes.
500g of passata.
One red pepper.
Bunch of basil leaves.
Begin your soup by frying off your veggies then adding in the stock and simmering for around 20 minutes.
Add in your passata, tomato paste and tomatoes, remove from the heat, blend and serve.
To conclude, Heinz tomato soup is quite high in syns, having 5 syns for half a can and 10 syns for the whole can. In order to save syns, we recommend making your syn-free version at home without cream!
