One way to save even more syns if you are in the mood for noodles is by making your own slimming world noodles at home! Our recipe below is quick and easy to make, serves four and is best of all, syn free!

Ingredients

  • One chili.
  • Three garlic cloves.
  • 2.5 cm of ginger.
  • Four spoons of curry powder.
  • One spoon of tumeric.
  • One spoon of fish sauce.
  • 200g of lean pork strips.
  • 250g dried noodles.
  • Two carrots and peppers sliced.
  • Three spoons of soy sauce.
  • Rice vinegar.
  • 100g of sugar snap peas.
  • Two chicken breasts in strips.

Method

  1. To begin, start by putting your onion, garlic, chili, ginger, and spices into a blender to make a small paste.
  2. Put the meat and 1/3 of the spice paste.
  3. Cook the noodles then fry off the meat in a hot pan, add in the paste then the veggies and around 400ml of boiling water till everything starts to soften.
  4. Add the meat and cooked noodles into a pan and combine, then add the soy sauce plus vinegar and serve hot.
