Our SW Jaffa Cake Recipe

If you feel like some Jaffa Cakes, but don't want to waste syns, why not try making your own one syn Jaffa Cakes at home?

Our recipe below makes 12 cakes and there is only one syn per cake!

Ingredients

  • Two eggs.
  • 45g of self-raising flour.
  • A drop of vanilla extract.
  • Half a sachet of sugar-free orange hartley sugar crystals.
  • 10g of dark chocolate.
  • 3 spoons of sweetener of choice.

Method

  1. To begin make up your orange jelly then place into moulds and allow to set until hard.
  2. Whisk your sweetener and eggs together in a bowl then fold in your self-raising flour and vanilla extract until combined.
  3. Grease a muffin tin, place the mixture inside each hole and bake for around 15 minutes until golden.
  4. Cool the cakes then place the jelly on top, melt your dark chocolate and drizzle on top, serve once set!
