One way to keep your falafels low in syns is by making your own at home, we've listed a simple to follow SW recipe below which has 1 syn per falafel and serves 6 people.
Ingredients
Two cans of 400g chickpeas.
Pinch of cumin.
One egg whisked.
Two slices of wholemeal bread small.
One spoon of coriander.
One chilli.
50g of red peppers from the jar.
Pinch of chives.
Low cal cooking spray.
Method
First, put your bread into the blender then add in the coriander, chickpeas, egg, chives, chilli and red peppers.
Put into a bowl and season.
Divide the mixture into 24 pieces and shape them into round flat balls, next heat the frying pan with low cal cooking spray over medium heat.
Cook for three minutes on each side then serve!
