Our Best SW Recipes With Sirloin Steak
If you've got some sirloin steak to use in the fridge and you are wondering how to keep it slimming world friendly, we've got two recipes for you to check out down below.
SW Sirloin Steaks With Mustard Sauce
500g of potatoes.
Rosemary and sea salt.
Low cal cooking spray.
Four sirloin steaks.
Two spoons of peppercorns.
Pinch of mustard.
300ml of beef stock.
5 spoons of plain fat-free yoghurt.
200g of mushrooms.
Spoon of wholegrain mustard.
Begin by heating your oven to gas mark 6 then slicing up your potato evenly, bake them in the oven for around 10 minutes topping them with rosemary and sea salt.
Turn the potatoes and bake for another 40 minutes and start making the sauce. Start making the sauce by putting your onions, mustard and stock into a pan then stirring and bringing to a boil.
Next, add in the mushrooms, simmer for 10 minutes and take off the heat. Stir in the yoghurt once cooled.
Fry your steaks with the peppercorns for 6 minutes on each side then serve with your spinach!
Sirloin Steak & Sweet Potato Fries
Six baby sweetcorn.
One large sweet potato cut up into chips.
Pinch of chipolata powder.
One sirloin steak.
Pinch of garlic powder and paprika.
Half a lime juice.
Start by boiling your sweet potato chips for around 5 minutes then toss them into a baking pan with some seasoning and low cal cooking spray.
Spray your red pepper and corn then set aside. Mix your spice in a bowl, spray the steak on either side then rub the spice mix on top, meanwhile, fry the sweetcorn and pepper in a pan on high heat.
Add the steak and cook for three minutes, moving the ingredients to the side. Add the chips into the pan-frying for up to another 5 minutes.
Take the steak out and allow it to rest for a few minutes, sprinkle your lime juice on the veggies and enjoy!
