Our SW Friendly Recipes Using Quorn Swedish Meatballs

We have listed two of our favourite syn free ways to use Quorn Swedish meatballs in some recipes below to give you some weeknight cooking inspo.

Syn Free Meatballs & Rice

Ingredients

  • Batchelor's Golden Savoury Rice.
  • One red onion.
  • Garlic.
  • Squeeze of tomato paste.
  • Quorn Swedish Style Meatballs (one serving).
  • Speed veggies of choice frozen or cut.
  • Soy sauce.
  • Chili powder.

Method

  1. First of all, cook your rice according to its instructions then grab your frying pan and start to fry off the Quorn meatballs.
  2. Add in your onion, garlic and chillies to the pan and fry them off until they soften, add your veg and allow it to cook for a few minutes then throw the rice into the pan and stir to combine.
  3. Now put in your dash of soy sauce and tomato puree and allow everything to fry for around 5 minutes on low heat.
  4. Serve!

Syn Free Meatball Pasta

Ingredients

  • One pepper.
  • One onion.
  • A handful of mushrooms.
  • Can of chopped tomatoes.
  • Garlic & chilli.
  • Spaghetti.
  • Tomato paste.
  • Quorn Swedish meatballs.
  1. First of all fry off your veggies in a pan with some low cal cooking spray until they start to soften, add in your meatballs as well as the garlic and chillies.
  2. Add in your tomato paste plus canned tomatoes and allow the sauce to simmer for around 20 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked and the sauce is thickened.
  3. Serve with pasta!
