If you love a McDonald's as a treat now and then, you might be wondering if you can still eat their wraps on the slimming world plan or if they cost you too many syns.
Well, McDonald's wraps have varying syns according to the flavour that you choose, but on average have between 18 and 24.5 syns, making them very high in syns.
In our guide below, we will discuss what makes McDonald's wraps so high in syns, as well as some low syn options from McDonald's, we've also included how to make your own low syn fakeaway chicken wrap to beat the cravings!
Why Are McDonald's Wraps So High In Syns?
At 18-24.5 syns, McDonald's wraps are very high in syns, consuming their wraps would put you well over your daily syn allowance for the day.
These wraps mainly get their syns from the sauces inside as well as add-ins like the breaded fried chicken, adding extra chicken than plain chicken breast would. The chicken selected inside their chicken fried wraps is already 240 calories 12 syns without the wrap and extras included.
This doesn't mean you can't have the occasional McDonald's wrap on the SW plan, but we suggest saving your syns for the day if you do decide to indulge.
