How To Keep Your Roast Dinner Slimming World Friendly

Roast dinners with Yorkshires are fine to have on the Slimming World plan but there are some tips and tricks you can do to make them lower in syn and more healthy.

We have listed our best tips for having a more slimming world friendly roast with your Yorkshire puddings below.

  • Make your own Yorkshires - Making your own Yorkshire's rather than buying frozen ones can reduce the amount of syns you use upon them, we have listed our best recipe for making low syn slimming world friendly Yorkshires down below.
  • Load with speed veg - Take advantage of the fact that veg is free in the slimming world and make sure your plate is loaded up with it for volume.
  • Do your gravy - Gravy especially when made from drippings can pack a lot of fat, it's much better to make your SW friendly gravy with some stock instead.
  • Stick with lean meat - Use lean meat such as chicken which is free on the SW plan and better for your heart health.
  • Use spray oil - Spraying your roast potatoes with spray oil rather than cooking them in heavy olive oil will save you a lot of calories and fat and still taste the same!
