Banana American Pancakes


  • Two spoons of self-raising flour.
  • Two whisked eggs.
  • One banana.
  • 180g of mixed berries.
  • 100g of fat free plain fromage frais.
  • Cinnamon.
  • Low cal cooking spray.


  1. Start by mashing the banana in a bowl then add in your eggs and flour, spray your frying pan and leave it over medium heat.
  2. To make 11 pancakes, pour a small amount of the pancake mixture into the pan to form a circle and allow it to cook for a minute turning golden brown on one side then flip over and cook again.
  3. Serve three pancakes per person with your fromage frais, mixed berries and some cinnamon sprinkled on top.

Oat American Pancakes


  • 80g of oats.
  • Four eggs.
  • Six spoons of fat-free plain yoghurt.
  • Two drops of vanilla essence.
  • Pinch of baking powder.
  • Two spoons of granulated sweetener.


  1. Start to make your pancakes by blending your oats until they become flour, mix this with two of your eggs, the baking powder, vanilla essence, sweetener and yoghurt.
  2. Heat your pan with some low cal cooking spray and whisk the last two eggs into the mix until it becomes smooth.
  3. Use two and a half spoons of batter into the pan and allow the pancake to cook for a few minutes on each side before flipping.
  4. Serve with fruit and enjoy!
